Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Elizabeth Seton Children's. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evaluation, treatment, and support to children with various diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify children's strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and coordination
  • Provide education and training to families and caregivers on adaptive techniques and strategies
  • Participate in in-service education and professional development to enhance clinical competence
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Assist in the development and implementation of adaptive equipment programs
  • Participate in the planning and execution of therapeutic aquatic programs
  • Act as a liaison therapist to establish relationships with outside school therapists and disseminate information to relevant care meetings
  • Serve as a clinical instructor and coordinator for student affiliation programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Master's degree preferred
  • NYS OT License and Certification
  • Minimum of 1 year's pediatric OT experience

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000.00/Yr. to $95,000.00/Yr. and a comprehensive benefits package.
