Physician - Gastroenterologist - UnitedHealth Group - New York Suburbs

Collegial Multispecialty Group PracticeOur team-based environment is physician-led and patient-centered, with a strong affiliation with a local tertiary care hospital that provides a full range of gastroenterology medicine. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of seasoned professionals in 50 medical and surgical specialties in New York's scenic Hudson Valley and lower Catskill region.
Independent Practice with Strong SupportAs an independent practitioner, you'll have the flexibility to grow your practice and patient panel, with a full complement of excellent support staff and dedicated practice management systems in place. Our surgery center/ASC centers are conveniently located down the street from our offices, and ownership opportunities are available with tenure.
Primary Responsibilities- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients.
- Perform endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures, including ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound procedures.
- Examine patients in clinic, hospital rounds, and perform surgical procedures as needed.
- Consult with patient's primary care physician and other specialists.
- Serve as collaborating physician to assigned Advanced Practice Clinicians.
