We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Specialist to join our team at Carus Group. As an Industrial Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving equipment operation, efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and maintain electrical equipment with minimal supervision.
- Conduct electrical equipment inspections, maintenance, and repair, including suggesting and implementing improvements to equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair process instrumentation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), three-phase circuits, and other process control hardware.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years industrial electrical experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and compliance in relation to transformer operation and theory, electrical circuit design, and PLC input/output and instrument wiring.
- Prior experience with electric motors and starters, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, D/C circuit analysis, and PCs and their operating systems.
- Ability to work on day shift Monday - Friday, but be available for rotating callout coverage.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot and program electrical and electronic equipment, including Allen-Bradley PLCs.
