We are seeking passionate and committed part-time Youth Sports Coaches in San Leandro to lead our after-school sports programs.

As a Youth Sports Coach with ANTS Sports, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on America's youth by teaching sports and wellness skills. No prior coaching experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training for all coaches.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead a fun and safe weekly sports practice for kids aged 5-10
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that focus on the fundamentals of sports
  • Ensure a safe and reliable program by arriving on time each week and maintaining accurate attendance
  • Interact positively with parents, teachers, and school staff
  • Set up and clean up after each program
  • Transport sports equipment to and from class each week

**Program Details:**

Our after-school sports programs run for 10-14 weeks, with classes taking place between 3-6 pm on the same day each week. You must be available to coach in the afternoon on your designated program day.

**Requirements:**

  • Reliable transportation to coaching sites
  • Professional and responsible attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Patience and understanding of young children's needs
  • Experience as a player or coach (optional)
  • Pass a Federal and state Background Check and/or FBI Fingerprinting (Livescan) and test negative for TB test (within the last 4 years)
