Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

Ara Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. This position may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing healthcare services, applying x-ray energy procedures to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing radiographic examinations and equipment in their assigned work area.
  • Properly positioning patients and equipment.
  • Selecting the appropriate image receptor and radiographic techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in radiologic technology, certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.), and certification as a Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.) by the Texas Medical Board. Two years of experience in general diagnostic radiology is preferred, with mammography experience being a plus. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in radiologic technology.

  • Certification as a Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.) by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Two years of experience in general diagnostic radiology (preferred).

Working Conditions:
