Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and performing standard x-ray examinations, as well as performing fluoroscopic procedures and portable examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and perform standard x-ray examinations using various radiographic equipment
  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures and portable examinations
  • Utilize proper positioning and selection of appropriate technical factors to obtain optimal results
  • Perform x-ray examinations applying appropriate infection control and radiation safety measures
  • Evaluate patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated
  • Perform other patient care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned consistent with Caregivers' scope of practice, training, experience, and license/certification/registration
Requirements
  • Accredited School Required: Radiologic Technology
  • PACS/RIS knowledge
  • ARRT-R certification
  • Washington state Radiology Technologist licensure
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
