Job Summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled EMT AEMT to join our team. As a key member of our emergency department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to intra/inter-facility transports and provide patient care in emergency department settings
  • Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and physician assistants to deliver safe and quality patient care
  • Perform treatments and procedures within the scope of AEMT practice and adhere to hospital standards
  • Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and discharges
  • Collect and process specimens for diagnostic testing
  • Engage in evidence-based best practices to enhance patient experience
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or equivalent
