Software Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Support Engineer to join our team at Kane Partners LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems running our software suite.
  • Administer Linux systems and oversee IT system infrastructure and related processes.
  • Handle day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for our software implementations.
  • Manage the ticketing system and actively participate in resolving issues.
  • Utilize knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Work with AWS and Azure Cloud environments.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to overall success.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues in both internal and customer environments.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an Associate's degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Linux systems.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and/or SQL databases.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, meet tight deadlines, and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Adaptability to work in diverse social, cultural, legal, and political settings.
