Position Overview:


Mythikos Recruitment & Consulting is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a vital member of our rehabilitation team within an inpatient care environment.

The ideal candidate will engage in both acute and subacute care settings, delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to individuals facing a range of physical and functional challenges.


Core Responsibilities:
1. Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their functional capabilities, restrictions, and requirements.
2. Formulate and execute personalized treatment strategies grounded in evidence-based methodologies and aligned with patient objectives, in partnership with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
3. Request and analyze diagnostic assessments and procedures, modifying treatment plans as needed.
4. Provide continuous education and assistance to patients and their families, ensuring effective communication with other healthcare providers.
5. Track and document patient advancements, maintaining precise and current patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
6. Engage in interdisciplinary team discussions and aid in the formulation of policies and procedures pertinent to rehabilitation services.
7. Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to synchronize patient care and enhance outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Valid license to practice in the state of Illinois.
• At least 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation environment, ideally within an inpatient acute or subacute facility.
• Strong clinical expertise and understanding of evidence-based rehabilitation techniques.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to operate independently as well as collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
