Overview

Opportunity

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide quality healthcare services to patients in the clinic and hospital setting under the direction and supervision of the department neurologist. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data.
  • Administer and/or order appropriate diagnostic tests, laboratory tests, and interpret test results.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, complete discharge summaries, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
  • Assist with in-patient hospital rounds and emergency department consultations.
  • Perform lumbar punctures, respond to code stroke, and provide telehealth services.
Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced or newly graduated Nurse Practitioner who:

  • Has a graduate degree from an accredited MSN program.
  • Is currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Illinois.
  • Has a current APRN license in Illinois.
  • Has a current DEA number.
  • Is highly collaborative and self-motivated.
  • Has strong communication skills when working with patients, patient families, and coworkers.
Compensation

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus, CME allowance, and a robust and comprehensive benefit package.
