Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the creation and submission of all external financial documents, including quarterly and annual reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC standards.
2. Oversee Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and guarantee that all financial operations and controls adhere to SOX regulations.
3. Provide expert accounting guidance and support to the finance department, ensuring adherence to GAAP in all accounting practices.
4. Formulate and execute financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Collaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process effectively.
6. Direct the budgeting and forecasting activities, offering strategic financial insights and leadership in decision-making processes.
7. Conduct financial analyses, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and present findings and recommendations to upper management.
8. Keep abreast of industry developments and changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
2. CPA designation is highly desirable.
3. At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role, with a solid foundation in public accounting.
4. In-depth knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.
5. Proven expertise in technical accounting and financial reporting.
6. Strong skills in financial software and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
