MyCareersFuture is seeking a highly skilled System Network Engineer to join our team. As a System Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing server system hardware and networks, as well as in-house development environment software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure software and hardware to ensure optimal system performance.
- Manage network devices and technology tools to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of overall system network architecture to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor system performance and maintain systems according to established requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements to ensure our systems remain secure and efficient.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a System Engineer/Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience and knowledge in VMware and SAN technologies.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
- Knowledge of system security, OS hardening, and data backup/recovery.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (MS Windows and Red Hat preferred).
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.
