Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Aya Locums is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative pain management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program
  • Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Virginia
  • National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting
