Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing and coordinating patient care needs, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and communicating patient condition to healthcare team members.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, such as physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
- Monitor and record patient condition, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient preferences, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working in a medical surgical unit or similar setting.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
