Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Anesthesiologist to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive anesthesia services to our patients, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic administration, and post-anesthesia care.

Responsibilities
Provide expert consultation and guidance to CRNA, Nursing, and other medical staff in the administration of anesthesia programs.
Involved with clinical care, bedside, and didactic teaching of residents, in consultation and collaboration with a wide variety of surgeons and other specialists.
Educate Residents and Students in the principles and therapy of basic and complex anesthesia cases.
Document services through appropriate notes, such as History and Physical and Anesthesia Consultation notes.
Foster a high level of patient and staff satisfaction.

Requirements
United States Citizenship.
Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in allopathic medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
