Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Land Surveyor to join our Geomatics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and reliable surveying services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct boundary surveys and prepare accurate maps and reports.
  • Use GPS/GNSS and conventional survey techniques to collect data and perform data reduction.
  • Prepare and sign survey documents, including Record Maps, Surveys, and ALTAs.
  • Supervise field crews and ensure the preparation of accurate and complete survey work products.
  • Engage with clients to discuss project goals and objectives and identify business opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of local survey laws, surveying principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in survey processing software.
  • Working knowledge of relevant technical software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Geomatics, Surveying, or related field and licensed by state/province in Land Surveying or equivalent licensure. Minimum of 7 years of experience.

This is a full-time position that requires a valid driver's license with a good driving record. The typical office environment involves working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather.
