Customer Engagement
- Fosters and exemplifies a customer-centric culture throughout all positions.
- Responsible for proactive management of the sales floor by scheduling shifts, assessing performance, and delivering constructive feedback to ensure an exceptional customer journey.
- Facilitates continuous training and mentorship to improve individual sales techniques, behaviors, and operational processes.
Analysis and Decision-Making
- Oversees payroll management to ensure compliance with the monthly budget, accurately tracking and validating timesheets for all roles.
- Supports the store in consistently meeting Total Monthly Income (TMI) objectives through effective leadership and operational excellence.
- Monitors inventory control, special orders, receiving protocols, layaway, and quality standards for all merchandise.
Performance Management
- Communicates daily sales targets to team members and drives accountability through regular performance check-ins.
- Evaluates individual team member performance and implements improvement plans through weekly discussions based on customer feedback and evaluations.
- Contributes to building a robust talent pipeline, ensuring the store is adequately staffed to meet all hiring objectives.
- Performs additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two to four years of prior experience in retail management within an apparel or specialty store setting.
- Familiarity with computerized Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Work Schedule and Physical Requirements:
Full-time hours required, Sunday through Saturday, totaling 40 hours per week.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is expected to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; reach for tools and objects; climb stairs; bend, kneel, or crouch; and communicate with customers. The employee may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and must possess the ability to see both near and far, utilize peripheral vision, and engage with computers and other electronic devices for prolonged periods.
