About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical patients, reviewing preference cards to determine surgeon needs and obtaining necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Perform surgical scrub duties and assist with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.
  • Assist in turning over of rooms, ensuring supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to proper location.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Accredited Surgical Program preferred.
  • Surgical Technician certification required.
