General Overview

This position offers a competitive salary based on a 12-month contract. The Vocational Nursing Educator will be responsible for delivering structured classroom instruction, demonstrating and overseeing vocational nursing competencies, and supervising nursing care provided by students during their clinical rotations and simulation lab activities.


The role includes participation in student recruitment and selection processes, as well as contributing to program assessment and enhancement. The educator will maintain accurate records for assigned courses and provide guidance to students.



Qualifications


Applicants must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse license from the appropriate regulatory body.

A minimum of three years of diverse nursing experience is required. Candidates should be adequately prepared through educational background and/or clinical experience to fulfill teaching responsibilities.

Additionally, the role necessitates the ability to travel independently to various clinical sites during both daytime and evening hours, along with effective communication skills in a teaching context with individuals and groups.

A criminal background check will be conducted.
