Position Title: Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Reporting To: Director of Activity Therapy

Position Summary: A licensed Therapeutic Recreation Specialist is responsible for delivering recreational therapy services to individuals in a clinical environment, aimed at enhancing their recovery process.

Qualifications:

Must possess a degree or certification in Recreational Therapy (CTRS or equivalent).

At least 12 months of experience in recreational therapy, ideally within a mental health context.

Communication Skills:

Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written.

Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

Required Skills:

Basic proficiency in computer applications.

Certification in crisis intervention and management.
