We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Hospital Sisters Health System. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for performing complex phlebotomy procedures and specimen collections for laboratory testing. You will also be responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of test sample priorities and requirements, as well as assisting with clinical laboratory functions as needed.
Responsibilities- Perform phlebotomy procedures and specimen collections for laboratory testing
- Maintain thorough knowledge of test sample priorities and requirements
- Assist with clinical laboratory functions as needed
- Perform clerical duties necessary to maintain high quality and efficient daily operations of the laboratory
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
- Phlebotomy certificate or equivalent preferred
