We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Hospital Sisters Health System. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for performing complex phlebotomy procedures and specimen collections for laboratory testing. You will also be responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of test sample priorities and requirements, as well as performing clerical duties to maintain high-quality and efficient daily operations of the laboratory.
Responsibilities- Perform complex phlebotomy procedures and specimen collections for laboratory testing
- Maintain thorough knowledge of test sample priorities and requirements
- Perform clerical duties to maintain high-quality and efficient daily operations of the laboratory
- Assist with clinical laboratory functions as needed
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
- Phlebotomy certificate or equivalent preferred
