Position Overview:
As a key member of our healthcare team at Hudson Regional Hospital, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for executing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures with precision and care. This role is vital in ensuring accurate diagnostics and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiently performs nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures as per established protocols.
- Demonstrates expertise in handling isotopes, including their administration and safety measures.
- Manages the receipt and secure storage of isotopes, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Implements spill response and waste disposal procedures effectively.
- Conducts quality control tests and maintains technical equipment in the hot lab.
- Upholds radiation protection standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Utilizes advanced systems such as PACS, Putty, Carevue, OpenVista, and ARS for efficient workflow.

Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an A.R.R.T. accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.

Experience Requirements:
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Qualifications:
- Must hold active registration with the A.R.R.T and/or SNMCB in Nuclear Medicine.
- Current New Jersey State license in Nuclear Medicine is required.
