Job Summary:

At Hudson Regional Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, as well as operating complex imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates competency in performing NM procedures, including positioning and administering radiopharmaceuticals.
• Maintains knowledge of radiation safety protocols and practices.
• Receives and stores radiopharmaceuticals, and adheres to spill procedures and waste disposal protocols.
• Troubleshoots technical issues with equipment and performs quality control tests.
• Practices radiation protection and maintains a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an A.R.R.T.-approved program in Nuclear Medicine.
• Registered by the A.R.R.T. and/or SNMCB in Nuclear Medicine, and maintains an active New Jersey State license in Nuclear Medicine.
