Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that integrate with various data sources, including databases, APIs, and streaming data.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts: Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide data solutions that meet their requirements.
- Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity throughout the pipeline.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot Pipelines: Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum data availability.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest data engineering technologies, tools, and best practices to ensure our data pipelines remain efficient and effective.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data pipelines and data processing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop, and strong understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
