Job Summary

Solventum is seeking a highly skilled Product Stewardship Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring material continuity for critical and ongoing reformulation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify second sources of supply for key materials used in Solventum medical/combination devices, drug products, and/or water/industrial filtration units.
  • Facilitate product safety evaluations with subject matter experts, including partnering with toxicologists on biocompatibility data needs and test plans.
  • Develop and implement process development, creative problem-solving, project management, or lean six sigma experience to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with global regulatory compliance experience in one or more of the following areas: regional and global chemical regulations, including but not limited to TSCA, REACH, RoHS, conflict minerals, consumer product safety laws, hazard communication, biocides, and/or global food contact.
  • Conduct product life cycle assessments, product risk assessments, and/or make risk-based decisions to ensure the safety and efficacy of Solventum products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of experience in product stewardship, environmental sciences, quality, and/or technical field in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • High School Diploma/GED from AND (14) years of experience in product stewardship, environmental sciences, quality, and/or technical field in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include demonstrated leadership in process development, creative problem-solving, project management, or lean six sigma experience, knowledge of the medical device industry and/or medical device quality management systems, and global regulatory compliance experience.
