Nurse Specialist Physician Practice

- Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and patients to resolve questions and provide medical advice
- Accurate and complete record-keeping of patient and physician communications
- Submission of prescriptions and refill requests according to physician orders
- Resource support to clinic staff on medical information, patient assessment, and nursing management
- Acquisition of pre-certs and prior authorizations for patient needs
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid RN license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) upon hire
- 2 years of nursing/patient care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
