As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Powers Health, you will work under the direction of our Physician, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Director/Office Supervisor to perform diagnostic procedures, assist with patient procedures, and conduct routine laboratory tests.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures and assist with patient procedures as directed by the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Director/Office Supervisor.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests, including collection and handling of infectious waste.
- Take patient vitals, administer injections/immunizations, and chart/document patient information.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill in providing care for all age groups and their family members.
- Maintain excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities to interact with patients, physicians, and other hospital associates.
- Current licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Minimum of 2 years of current clinical experience to acquire a thorough knowledge of scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards.
- CPR certificate required.
