We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant on a full-time contract basis. As a Contracted Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the communication skills of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development of IEP goals.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with new strategies and knowledge on speech criteria, and contribute to the development of best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Education and Certification: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, and New York state licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience and Skills: Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience, and ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
