Senior Optical Systems Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Encourage teamwork and synergy across various departments to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Represent technical expertise both internally and externally; may oversee other personnel.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
  • Lead and orchestrate optical design and analytical tasks.
  • Provide specialized knowledge and guidance on projects.
  • Operate under consultative guidance to meet objectives.
  • Determine technical scope for proposals while adhering to financial targets.
  • Support program technical expectations and ensure timely completion of engineering projects.
  • Engage in business development initiatives.
  • Offer insights on new concepts and enhancements through continuous learning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in optical, mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 9 years of pertinent professional experience.
  • Expertise in optical imaging systems design, physical optics, and system performance evaluation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities.
Work Environment
  • Professional office setting.
  • Utilization of standard office tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a moderately noisy cubicle environment.
Physical Demands
  • Involves standing, walking, talking, hearing, reaching, typing/handling, grasping, stooping, and lifting.
