Job Summary

The Database Administrator will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and updates of the inventory of all NA BU3 production database installations. This includes location, owners, credentials, backup and archive status, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support maintenance and updates of the inventory of all NA BU3 production database installations.
  • Participate in discussions with IT to define infrastructure for backup and archive.
  • Implement backup and archive infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the determination of the production database architecture leading to optimized performance.
  • Contribute to the determination of optimum production database table normalization.
  • Support development of a means to systematically reproduce production database instances for new assembly lines.
  • Support definition of a standard production database security architecture.
Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in a 4-year accredited university.
  • Major: Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
  • Class Standing: Junior, Senior.
  • Overall GPA must be a 3.0 or higher.
