Job Overview

KARM Stores is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Shift Lead to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Retail Management team in processing transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and ensuring the accuracy and security of all transactions.
  2. Work with the Retail Management team to establish and maintain customer service standards, ensuring compliance with the company mission statement and providing a pleasant shopping experience for each customer.
  3. Assist store staff in stocking store shelves and clothing racks, providing customers with maximum shopping opportunities.
  4. Assist in delegating tasks and responsibilities with the Retail Manager and Assistant Retail Manager, especially when the Manager is not on shift.
  5. Live out KARM Stores' mission to Reveal, Tell & Provide, and carry out the company's Core Values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with an excellent command of the English language.
  2. Commitment to KARM Stores' mission and mission statement.
  3. Computer skills, including general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
  4. Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
  5. Ability to stand for up to 100% of a standard work day.
  6. Ability to lift and bend for up to 75% of a standard work day.
  7. Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical activity, including lifting at least 50 pounds.
