Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Meridian Healthcare. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting the health, recovery, and well-being of individuals affected by mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage client medication regimens, documenting effectiveness and side effects.
- Provide specialized services, including medical assistance, substance abuse education, and health and wellness education.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists to ensure proper medication monitoring and client care.
- Conduct vital sign checks and biometric screenings for clients.
- Document work in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Monitor client health and dental needs, providing additional services as needed.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and staffings.
- Consult with other medical personnel to ensure proper client follow-through and growth.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Florida Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse (RN) degree, with at least two years of experience. Preferred qualifications include experience working with individuals who have substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. You must also have a working knowledge of the CAT model, behavioral and treatment interventions, and the ability to deliver health education.
A current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record is required, as well as the ability to meet company insurance requirements.
