Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist / Die Maintenance Machinist to join our team at Topre America Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art CNC Bridge Mill, ensuring high-quality production and efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CNC Bridge Mill, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
  • Perform die maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring dies are in good working condition.
  • Set up and operate milling machines, drill presses, and other machine tools as needed.
  • Load and unload machine tooling, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Deburr, polish, and file finished parts to meet quality standards.
  • Drill, tap, counter bore, and ream holes with precision and accuracy.
  • Use trigonometry to calculate angles and ensure accurate machining.
  • Read and understand blueprints, ensuring accurate production.
  • Communicate effectively with die makers and other team members to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Write and edit small programs for can cycle, ensuring efficient production.
  • Be proficient in G-code programming and understand feeds and speeds.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Participate in shop maintenance and cleaning tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in CNC machining and die maintenance.
  • Proficiency in operating CNC Bridge Mill and other machine tools.
  • Strong understanding of trigonometry and ability to calculate angles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Surf Cam and Work NC software.
  • Experience with Solid Works and AutoCAD.
