We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at PTI Industries, an ISS company. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in processing aerospace, automotive, power generation, medical, laser components, and heat exchangers.
Key Responsibilities:- Work from process documents, sketches, and specifications to complete various operations.
- Perform and complete assigned duties in a timely manner under the guidance of a Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and conform to all quality procedures and standards.
- Perform quality assurance and testing checks.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance of machines according to the PM schedule.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematics, i.e., add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to collect data and make simple observations and recommendations and put them in written reports as needed.
- Must be able to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
- Must have experience using an internet browser and basic applications.
- Basic knowledge of common hand tools, mechanical aptitude, time management skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
