Athletic Trainer

Kansas State University is seeking a highly qualified Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our Sports Medicine department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our student-athletes, ensuring their optimal performance and well-being.

• Administer preventative taping and special equipment to student-athletes, maintain safety equipment at practices and competitions, and administer emergency procedures to injured athletes.
• Assist in the application of therapeutic modalities and treatments, implement rehabilitation programs for players after surgery or injury, and maintain records of all student-athlete treatments and injuries.
• Prepare student-athlete injury reports for the Head Coach and periodic progress reports on rehabilitation of player injuries throughout the year.
• Coordinate insurance information with parents and the Sports Medicine insurance coordinator, and meet with recruits to discuss injuries and rehabilitation programs.

• Master's degree in Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or a related field.
• Two years of experience providing athletic training services for a professional sport organization or NCAA Division I sport program.
• Current NATA certification and eligibility for a State of Kansas Athletic Training License.
