Job Description:
Care for Childbearing Women and Newborns:
- Care for childbearing women and newborns in Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum, and Newborn stages.
- Work in a Level 3 Perinatal center with approximately 150 births per month; 70% of patients are complex high risk.
- Collaborate with a Level 4 NICU regional center.
- Participate in two operating rooms for C-Sections, BTLs, and postpartum D&Cs.
- Serve as the second Labor & Delivery RN as the baby catcher for well, non-compromised babies.
- Provide outpatient services when the clinic is closed.
- Must accommodate floating within the hospital.
- Required to work weekends.
- The position accepts first-time labor and delivery nurses.
- Accepts local applicants and pending licenses.
- Candidates must be fully compliant with the background policy.
- Orientation provided twice monthly for RNs, with mandatory module completion pre-start.
