Job Title: 2nd Class Painter

Stellar Energy is seeking a skilled 2nd Class Painter to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our fabrication facility, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining spray painting and sandblasting equipment to apply various industrial coating methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fluent understanding of coating product data sheets and related SDS sheets to ensure safe and timely application.
  • Knowledge of SSPC Standards and NACE Standards for surface coating documentation.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, paint, ventilation, compressed air, blast, and PPE for industrial coating applications.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years' related experience or training.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience in Industrial Coatings.
  • Some vocational technical training desired.
  • NACE and SSPC Industrial Painting Certification ideal.
Work Environment:

This position operates in a fabrication facility with occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme conditions at construction job sites.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include regular talking and hearing, frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to handle equipment.

Travel:
