Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Coatings Specialist to join our team at Stellar Energy Americas Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial coatings and be able to operate and maintain spray painting and sandblasting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fluent in coating product data sheets and related SDS sheets
  • Understands SSPC Standards and NACE Standards
  • Operate and maintain equipment, paint, ventilation, compressed air, blast, and PPE
  • Comprehend Mil Spec requirements and measurement policies
  • Understand how humidity, temperature, surface profile, etc. affects final product

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years' related experience or training
  • NACE and SSPC Industrial Painting Certification (desired)

Work Environment:

This position operates out of a fabrication facility. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
