Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated and client-oriented Client Relations Specialist to become a vital part of our Deposit Services team. In this capacity, you will be the welcoming face of the bank, providing exceptional customer service while addressing client inquiries through various channels including in-person, phone, and email.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM. No weekends required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently execute standard financial transactions such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments using the Integrated Teller processing system.
  • Welcome all clients, respond to phone inquiries, manage the client services inbox, and retrieve client information as needed to ensure a positive experience.
  • Adhere to client identity verification protocols for every client interaction.
  • Maintain balance in the Integrated Teller role, cash recycler, and vault inventory in compliance with established procedures.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for transactions accurately.
  • Address suspicious activity incidents and manage client fraud requests promptly in collaboration with the Deposit Operations department.
  • Sort, distribute, and handle returned mail efficiently.
  • Assist in scanning documents into internal systems.
  • Represent the bank positively in all client, coworker, and vendor interactions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of conference rooms, kitchen, and front desk, ensuring adequate supplies are stocked.
  • Comply with the bank's policies, procedures, security protocols, and government regulations, including BSA.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance banking knowledge and stay updated on regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service roles.
  • Professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with ITI and Integrated Teller systems is advantageous.
