Job Summary
As a Clinical Extender at Hanger, you will play a vital role in supporting our orthotic clinicians with patient care and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the medical field and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clinicians with patient care duties, including prepping rooms, weighing, and documentation
Assist with fittings, including measurements, repairs, and adjustments
Prepare devices for positive rectification
Assist patients with follow-ups and general care of devices
Perform administrative tasks, such as entering information into EMR systems and scheduling
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience with electronic health/medical record systems preferred
Minimum one to two years of medical experience required or equivalent combination of work and education
