Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building, presses, and equipment throughout the plant.
  • Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, controls, and other equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the assembly and press departments to achieve team goals and improve press set-up times.
  • Safety Procedures: Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tag out and electrical safe work practices.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks, corrective actions, and improvements to assigned equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and downtime recording.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including the elimination of waste and lean manufacturing principles.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess knowledge of stamping presses, conveyors, CNCs, washers, assembly machines, and related machinery.
  • Electrical Knowledge: Understand basic electrical circuits and diagrams, as well as pneumatics, lubrication, and hydraulics circuits.
  • Welding and Cutting: Possess knowledge of MiG and arc welding, as well as the use of cutting torches.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Compliance: Possess working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance criteria.
