Centurion Health is seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team at Torrance State Hospital in Pennsylvania.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will conduct diagnostic neuropsychological evaluations, provide direct patient treatment, and guide interdisciplinary cognitive rehabilitation for an adult inpatient psychiatric hospital population. This role will provide neuropsychological services as assigned, encompassing evaluation of the patient's presenting complaints and condition, past medical and psychiatric histories, social history, and current mental status.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic neuropsychological evaluations and provide direct patient treatment
- Guide interdisciplinary cognitive rehabilitation for an adult inpatient psychiatric hospital population
- Prepare and distribute reports of assessments to the referral source and other designated providers
- Act as a resource to staff, providing training and supervision as needed
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or a related field from a program accredited by the U.S. American Psychological Association (APA)
- Current MD/DO licensure or licensure eligibility in Pennsylvania
- Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP)
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship in psychology
- Completion of pre- and post-doctoral training in neuropsychology
