About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of autonomy and independence. You will be working with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including administering medications and treatments, reviewing physician's orders, and completing semi-annual nursing summaries.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor the health status of individuals and provide appropriate interventions, including ordering medications and medical supplies.
Requirements
  • A license and current registration to practice as a practical nurse in New York State, or a limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State, or an application on file for a limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State.
  • A valid Driver's license and dependable transportation.
