Job Summary

Sperry Rail Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Railway Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our railway systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain railway equipment, including locomotives, cars, and signaling systems.
  • Inspect and maintain railway tracks, including inspection of track geometry, rail condition, and ballast.
  • Conduct safety inspections of railway equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient railway operations.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve railway safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Commercial driving experience and CDL A or B with air brake endorsement required.
  • 2+ years of experience in railway operations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of railway safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
