Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join our team at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive tertiary diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal and pulmonary endoscopic care to patients from age 12 to geriatric.

Responsibilities
  • Provide full service, comprehensive tertiary diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal and pulmonary endoscopic care to patients.
  • Perform both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopic and bronchoscopy services.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Utilize nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN License, in good standing: either TN RN license or compact licensure.
  • High acuity experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
