About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Menta Academy Northwest. As an Occupational Therapist with our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs to develop the skills necessary for day-to-day life and work.

Responsibilities
  • Provide educational direction and support to students at times of confusion, frustration, and emotional upset.
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and progress reports for student caseloads.
  • Deliver Occupational Therapy-related services as dictated on the IEP.
  • Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.
  • Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed or IEP-directed.
Qualifications
  • Current State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Registration with the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Ability to work with students with Emotional Disturbance (ED), Behavioral Disorder (BD), Other Health Impairment (OHI), Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Other Health Impairment (OHI).
