Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, and vocational abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance their functional independence.
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including assistive device fabrication and patient education, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between treatment phases.
  • Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in performance improvement activities to enhance quality of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and provide cutting-edge care.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
