- Prepare Treatment Rooms: Ensure treatment rooms are prepared for upcoming examinations, including restocking supplies and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Perform Departmental Duties: Assist with clerical tasks, such as checking inventory, tracking referrals, and answering phones, as needed.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Demonstrate problem-solving skills to resolve issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Licensure/Certification: Active Medical Assisting Certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred upon hire, with a requirement to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: One year of medical assistant experience preferred; two years of clerical experience in a physician's office preferred.
