Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Ambulatory Care Department Manager RN to lead our team in providing high-quality patient care services. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring that staff provides exceptional care that meets the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations and service delivery to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Ensure staff compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including the Nurse Practice Act, NCQA, and TJC standards.
  • Implement and maintain patient care and quality service standards to meet member and internal client expectations.
  • Act as a patient advocate, resolving patient care issues and concerns.
  • Recommend, implement, and evaluate processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum of care.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and resource allocations to ensure financial performance.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care/service.
  • Determine the appropriate staff mix for the department and develop processes to screen, interview, hire, train, and maintain competency of all department staff.
  • Assist in providing ongoing staff development and training to ensure staff competence.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in ambulatory care or other relevant clinical experience required.
  • OR
  • Minimum two (2) years in a healthcare leadership capacity.
  • OR
  • Completion of Kaiser Permanente Southern California Postgraduate Fellowship in Health Care Administration.
Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
